POCO has been in the news quite a bit lately, especially because of their POCO F1 handset, which was one of the first few handsets to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. But POCO isn’t stopping there; they’re also planning to launch new handsets in the future, and one of them will be called the POCO X3. Here are 10 things you have to know about the POCO X3.
1) Battery Life
The POCO X3 has a large 5,160mAh battery that can easily last you through a day and then some. Even with heavy usage, you should be able to get at least 6 hours of screen-on time. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chip which is more than capable for gaming, web browsing, and watching videos. The phone also includes dual rear cameras: one 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 1/2 sensor size and OIS; the other 5MP sensor with f/2.6 aperture, 1/5 sensor size and no OIS – which should help you take better pictures in low light environments as well as shoot portrait mode photos on both cameras!
2) Fingerprint Scanner
The POCO X3 features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that’s fast and accurate. Plus, it’s easy to reach, so you won’t have any trouble unlocking your phone. The downside is that it’s not as secure as a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. But overall, it’s a great feature that makes the POCO X3 more convenient to use.
3) 6GB vs. 8GB RAM
One of the main differences between the 6GB and 8GB RAM versions of the POCO X3 is, of course, the amount of RAM. More RAM can mean better performance, but it doesn’t always. The 8GB RAM version may be slightly faster than the 6GB RAM version, but not by much. So, if you’re looking for a speed boost, you may want to consider other options.
4) 64GB Internal Storage
The POCO X3 comes with 64GB of internal storage, which is plenty of space for most users. However, if you’re a power user who needs a lot of space for games, movies, and other large files, you may want to consider getting a model with more storage. The good news is that the POCO X3 supports expandable storage via microSD card, so you can always add more storage later if you need it.
5) 64GB External MicroSD Card Support
The POCO X3 supports up to 64GB of external microSD storage, meaning you can keep all your photos, videos, and files in one place. Plus, with the included file manager, it’s easy to keep track of everything. And if you ever need more space, you can always upgrade to a higher capacity card.
6) Always Listening Speaker
The POCO X3 comes with an always listening speaker that can be used to activate voice commands. This is a great feature for those who want to be able to control their phone hands-free. To activate the speaker, simply say Hey POCO followed by your command. You can use this feature to make calls, send texts, take pictures, and more.
7) USB Type-C
The USB Type-C port on the POCO X3 is a great feature that allows you to connect the phone to other devices with ease. However, there are a few things you should know about this feature before using it. For example, make sure you have the right cables and adapters for your devices, as not all cables are created equal. Additionally, be aware of data transfer speeds when using this port; some devices may be slower than others.
8) Rear Camera Review
The POCO X3 comes with a rear camera setup that’s very similar to what you’ll find on other devices in its price range. It’s a good camera, but it’s not great. The main sensor is a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/1.75 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels. It’s paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor.
9) Front Camera Review
The front camera on the POCO X3 is good for basic selfies and video calls. It’s not the best camera out there, but it gets the job done. The camera app is easy to use and has all of the basic features you need. Overall, the front camera is a decent option for those who don’t want to spend a lot of money on a phone with a great camera.
10) Wireless Charging
One of the best things about the POCO X3 is that it supports wireless charging. So, if you’re always on the go and need to charge your phone quickly, this is a great option. Plus, it’s just really convenient to be able to charge your phone without having to fumble with cords.
